How we are funded

Install Notes is built as an affiliate publication. That is the business model this kind of site normally runs on, and you should know it before you weigh anything we write.

What is running today

Nothing. No partner programme is enrolled for this site at present, no partner identifier is configured, and there is no tracking link anywhere in these pages. Every link in an article points at another page of this site. Nobody pays us for a click, a signup or a deposit today, and no operator has reviewed, approved or seen a line of this site before publication.

What would change if that changed

If a partner programme is enrolled later, three things happen at once and none of them quietly:

• Links that earn become clearly marked as partner links, technically tagged as sponsored, and routed through a single visible redirect rather than hidden inside body text.
• This page and the notice in the footer are rewritten first, before the first paid link goes live, to state exactly who pays and for what.
• The editorial rules below do not move. A commission does not buy a heading, a recommendation, a removed risk paragraph or a softened sentence.

Rules that hold either way

• Nothing hands-on is claimed. We hold no account, we have installed nothing, and we never write "we tested" or "in our experience".
• No invented numbers. If an operator or a store does not publish a figure, we do not print one. That covers app versions, file sizes, system requirements, download counts, ratings, deposits and payouts alike.
• No verdicts. Not "safe", not "regulated", not "scam". We publish what the operator states, what the public regulatory record shows, and how to check both yourself.
• No routes to unofficial software. We do not name, link or describe where modified or repackaged builds circulate, in any context, in any language.
• No workarounds. No VPN advice, no store-country switching, no mirrors, no third-party stores used to get around unavailability.
• Risk stays visible. The passages explaining that fixed-time options are high risk, and that most retail accounts in this product category lose money, are not negotiable and are not moved below the fold.

Why say all this

Because a download page is exactly where a reader is most likely to click something they cannot verify, and the least useful thing we could do is add one more confident voice with an undisclosed interest. If a passage here ever reads like a sales pitch rather than a note, that is a bug — tell us through the contact page and we will rewrite it.
