About these notes

Install Notes is a small editorial desk with one subject: getting the Pocket Option apps onto a device and keeping them genuine and current. Android and the direct file, iPhone and iPad, Windows and Mac, tablets, the browser version, the two official apps, updates, permissions and the errors that stop an install halfway. We are not Pocket Option, we do not represent it, and we are not an agent for it. What we do is read what the operator publishes, read what the platform makers document, and explain the gap in language you can act on.

Why a download site

Download questions look trivial until you try to answer one honestly. Which of the two apps is mine. Why does the store show nothing in my country. Is the file I was sent the real one. What is this permission for. Those questions have concrete, checkable answers, and they are badly served by pages that would rather push you toward a button. We answer them with steps where steps exist, and with a plain "this cannot be established from outside" where that is the honest answer.

• We explain mechanics: how an install actually runs, what to have ready, where it usually stalls.
• We keep three things apart that get blurred together: how the operating system works, what the operator decides, and what the reader did.
• We name drawbacks briefly and move on, rather than burying a useful page in warnings.

What we do not do

We hold no account on the platform, we have installed nothing, and we run no hands-on tests. No sentence here should be read as "we tried it and this is what happened". For the same reason we publish no figure that an official source does not publish: no app version or build numbers, no file sizes, no minimum operating-system versions, no download counts or store ratings, no deposit or withdrawal amounts.

We also do not issue verdicts. We do not call the platform safe, trustworthy or regulated, and we do not call it a scam. Both are conclusions nobody can support from the outside. What we can give you is evidence you can check yourself, starting with the operator's own published pages and the public records kept by financial regulators.

Nothing here explains how to get around a store restriction or a geographic one. There is no VPN advice, no store-country switching, no mirror addresses and no third-party app archives. We do not name, list or describe where unofficial builds circulate, in any context, because a list of bad sources is a map to them.

The two rules we repeat

First: an installer you cannot trace back to the operator's own site or to an official store listing is an installer you cannot authenticate, and no scan, no signature check and no comment thread changes that. Second: nobody legitimate ever needs your password, your one-time code, your two-factor code, your backup codes or access to your screen — including anyone presenting themselves as platform support or a helpful trader. A request for any of those is itself the proof that the contact is not genuine.

Who is responsible

The desk is led by Nadia Kowalczyk, apps and devices editor, who is responsible for what is published and for corrections. Articles that lean on facts which can move carry the date those facts were checked against public pages, because store listings, domains and app availability in this sector change without notice.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, send it through the contact page with a link to the page and, where you can, a link to the official source that shows the correct position. Factual corrections get made and the update date moves with them. We do not accept requests to remove risk explanations or to turn neutral wording into promotional wording.

Risk

Fixed-time and digital options are high-risk, short-horizon speculation. Capital can be lost in full and quickly, and most retail accounts in this product category lose money. This is not investing and not a savings product. Read that before anything on this site that explains how to get started.
